Raydoors are up!

Here are the much anticipated sliding doors that divide the K/DR from the LR. The top view is from the living room & the bottom is from the front door. No flash so you can see the soft Northern light shining through. I couldn't take a wider angle shot because there's so much equipment in the way, but they do look fabulous.

Kitchen cabs are in!

Tada! The main room is finally looking like a kitchen. The guys put it all back together like a jigsaw puzzle.

I think those white spots are dust that's gotten in the camera from the worksite!

Some of you have been clamoring for finishes. Yes, it's getting to be that time. Here are a few teasers.

Take a walk on the tiled side. Here's what's going in Maya's bathroom! Very fun stuff from Italy via the Bronx. The sweet spot we were looking for was "whimsical but not juvenile" or "elegant but still fun." Did we hit it?

And in the master bath: beautiful ceramic that looks and feels exactly like honed marble on the floor & shower floor, except it's indestructible (AO Catarina Coliseum White). Seafoam 8x13s with subtle veining on the shower walls and glass mosaic for an accent stripe. Big thanks to Steve Sandler for the assist!
